My name is Sally Showperson. I am a 6th grader at Franklin Elementary School. This is my 4th year to show. I had two goat projects this year that I was not able to show due to our county fair being cancelled and the State Fair being cancelled. I appreciate any add-on money. It will help me recoup expenses and perhaps go towards buying my project for next year. Thank you in advance for your support.

There will be three options for stalling junior show cattle at the Ohio Beef Expo March 17-20.  All stalling indoor stalling will be provided mulch Viaducts will have to purchase mulch. Horse stalls MUST be put back to how they were found to not accrue additional fees or loss of junior show points. Manure will be placed in the manure dumpsters. Trash needs to be placed in the respective trash cans. No matter the location of stalling for exhibitors, ALL exhibitors MUST check in at the junior show office prior to stalling at Expo to ensure that all Entry Fees and Memberships are paid

Viaducts: All viaducts will be sold with the expectation of putting at minimum of 10 head in them, Mulch not provided

Horse Stalls: Will be sold in lots of 3 stalls in a consecutive order. Karigan will be notifying you of exact stall numbers after the sale according to how the stalls were purchased. Exhibitors get the stall directly across the aisle from the ones they purchased. (Same as Clark County stalling). Mulch provided

Gilligan Building: Only 25% of the stalls will be sold in the barn, all remaining stalls will be available on the online stalling form. Mulch provided

The first option will allow exhibitors to bid on remaining viaduct bays or a set number of premium stalls (not to exceed 25% of the stalls) in Gilligan, or buy stall blocks in the horse barn at a fixed rate. The online auction will be held on Breeder’s World on Feb. 23, 2022. The other two options will be the same as previous years and will be offered at no additional cost.

Option 2 - Beginning March 9 and ending March 11, exhibitors will have the opportunity to select their top three stalling preferences as to where they would like to be stalled in a respective barn, by filling out the online form, the same form that was filled out last year. Exhibitors will be able to stall in groups or individually. All stalling forms will be time stamped, so submissions will get their first choice according to when the form was submitted online. There will not be an additional cost for these spaces.

Option 3 - The last option is to stall when you get to the fairgrounds. This will allow exhibitors to stall in the remaining spaces at no additional cost.

These options are offered for exhibitors who want to purchase premium space in the viaduct, Gilligan barn or horse stalls. The purchase of premium space is not required and solely up to the discretion of the exhibitor. All proceeds from the premium stalls will be used to benefit the Ohio Beef Expo Junior Show.

Options 2 and 3 require no additional purchase.

All proceeds from the online sale will benefit the Ohio Beef Expo Jr. Show exhibitors at the 2022 event. Over 600 youth and over 850 head of cattle travel to Columbus to exhibit at the Ohio Beef Expo, a featured event for Ohio’s cattlemen.
