More Info This year, I wrestled for Wilmington Middle School and really enjoyed being part of the team. I’ve been working hard to improve my technique and strength. In the off-season, I’m part of Wilmington Ladies Freestyle Wrestling. It’s been a great way to stay active, learn new styles, and compete with other female wrestlers.
To get better at both wrestling and overall fitness, I’ve been going to The Strength Lab. There, I’m learning the right way to lift weights and how to improve my running form. It’s helped me build strength, prevent injuries, and push myself to reach new goals.
Outside of sports, I’m very involved in 4-H. I show lambs and rabbits, which means I spend a lot of time feeding, grooming, and training them. It takes a lot of work and commitment, but it’s something I really enjoy. This year, I’m also going to be a mentor for “A Day in the Ring,” an event that allows individuals with special needs to participate in a livestock show, working with 4-H members as mentors. I’m excited to help them get started and share what I’ve learned through my own experience.
Balancing everything takes time, but I like staying busy with things I care about. Each of these activities has taught me something different—whether it’s leadership, discipline, or just how to work hard for what I want.
